To demonstrate our commitment, we are focused on building environmental awareness, reducing energy emissions, and increasing the use of renewable energy sources.
Our Swiss manufacturing site successfully received the ISO 14001 certification on June 17th, 2022. This certification is based on international standards for environmental management systems and requires companies to measure and improve their environmental impact. Our facility in Scotland complies with all applicable EU Safety and Local Environmental regulations. We have implemented energy-efficient measures, such as improved lighting and insulation, as well as installed an 80kW solar panel farm.
This renewable energy source is wholly consumed by the facility and decreases our carbon footprint. We invest in such environmentally friendly technologies to reduce impact on the environment and have set ambitious achievable reduction targets through a carbon footprint study. We are also proudly aligned with the Paris Agreement and the Greenhouse Gases Protocol. Additionally, we expect our partners and suppliers to adhere to our Environmental Health and Safety Policy.
